Magdalene Wheel: Gnostic Wisdom of the Magdalene for the Turning of the Wheel

This month’s online circle will focus on the turning of the wheel to Ostara (Spring). Together, we journey into the spiritual threads that connect Mary Magdalene with the energies of rebirth, renewal, and the awakening season of spring. Long honored as a keeper of wisdom, witness to transformation, and embodiment of devotion, Mary Magdalene stands at the threshold between endings and beginnings. Her story mirrors the ancient rhythm of death and return, echoing the same cycle that stirs the earth each spring.

We explore how her presence aligns with the direction of the East—the place of first light, new vision, and the breath of beginnings. Across many traditions, the East symbolizes dawn and illumination - the moment when darkness gives way to clarity, insight, and revelation. Spring is symbolic of our first inhale as newborns and the promise of growth. This time of spiritual rebirth is the inner rising that follows a period of descent, mirroring the resurrection mysteries Mary Magdalene witnessed and carried forward.

Through a guided writing practice, a womb-centered movement practice, and a sharing of hearts, participants will explore Mary Magdalene not only as a historical figure, but as an archetype of awakening—one who stands in the East with us during the season of Spring, inviting us to rise, breathe, and begin again.

Together, we will attune to the energies of spring, the symbolic winds of the East, and the Magdalene’s teachings on renewal, courage, and the power of witnessing our own transformation. This session offers a space to reconnect with the cyclical nature of rebirth, honor the sacred feminine in its many forms, and step into the light of a new season with clarity and intention.
